Don't wait until the government sounds the alarm

2 years after Chile banned sugary food and beverage brands from using cartoon mascots that appeal to children, the state of Oaxaca in Mexico banned the sale of high-calorie snacks and sugary drinks to children.

The pandemic, as a new threat to human health, shows how disadvantaged groups have been disproportionately affected by the crisis. It makes it more obvious how brands and companies need to step up.
